Adobe Photoshop Course Overview
Photoshop has become an indispensable tool for photographers, designers, and all other creative professionals, as well as students. Led by an Adobe Certified Instructor, the course demonstrates established techniques as well as those made possible by some of the new features unique to Photoshop CS5. This course is crucial to those who are new to the application, just learning this version, or expanding their skills. This course teaches a broad spectrum of core skills that are common to many creative fields.
Software Requirements: Each computer requires the following software:
- Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 3
- Adobe® Photoshop® CS5
- Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® 7.0 or above

Level 1
Class Length: 1 day (approx. 6 hours)
Prerequisites: Before taking this course, students should be familiar with the basic functions of their computer's operating system such as creating folders, launching programs, and working with windows. Students should also have basic Windows application skills, such as copying and pasting objects, formatting text, saving files, and so on.
