Course Overview

This class allows you to create computer-based simulations with anything you can access from your computer. The simulations you create can be interactive. You can add captions, rollovers, clickable areas, typing areas and sound effects. In this class, you will learn the skills essential to mastering Captivate.

Class Length: 2 day (approx. 8 hours each)

Prerequisites:

• Knowledge of previous versions of Captivate is helpful, but not required
• General computer knowledge (Mac or PC) such as:
• Opening and closing programs
• Opening and closing documents
• Saving files
• Basic knowledge of file types (i.e. .mp3, .jpg, .wmv, .mov)
• Basic knowledge of internet usage
• Willingness to learn
• Note taking materials, if desired
