Google offers free online word processing and spreadsheet capabilities that allow you to collaborate in real time with other users. This allow you to keep information updated without version control issues and email nightmares. This tool is a must, if you collaborate on document or spreadsheets, manage information for an organization or frequently update information on websites. Google docs can be posted on websites, linked through email and tightly controlled (if needed) with passwords and access controls.
